2017 Laramie County Fair is right around the corner!
Are you ready for the 110th Laramie County Fair? This two week-long event starts July 31st 2017 and goes through August 12th 2017. This year, they will be holding the event in a split venue. Part of the event will be held at the Archer Complex and the other part will be held at Frontier Park.
Shows
The major shows held at the Archer Complex this year are the horse and poultry shows. The major shows held at Frontier Park this year are the sheep show, the cattle show, the pig show, and the round robin shows. The horse show runs from July 31st through August 2nd. The poultry show runs July 31st and August 1st. The sheep show is August 8th. The cattle show runs August 9th and 10th. The pig show is August 9th. The round robin shows round out the week on August 11th.
Static Exhibits
The static exhibits will be on display starting August 5th. The static exhibits will be released to participants on August 12th.
Entertainment
The Laramie County Fair has several entertainment events occurring during the two weeks. All of the entertainment events are held in the Frontier Park arena. The first event is the Truck and Tractor Pull which will be held on August 5th at 630pm. The Mutton Bustin’ event will be held on August 8th at 630pm. The always fun, Pig Wrestling event will be held on August 9th at 630pm. Finally, the Demolition Derby will be held August 11th at 6pm.
Sales
Finishing up the Laramie County Fair are the 4-H sale and the FFA sale. The FFA sale will be held at the ice and event center on August 11th starting at 7pm. The 4-H sale will be held in the beef barn at Frontier Park on August 12th starting at 10am.
